don,
are you the guy that has some interviews in stocks & commodities magazine? i used to have a subscription and your name sounds familiar. if i'm correct, the interviews are accompanied by a sketch of a guy with a beard (?). i assume you are him?
heh.. makes me think of my early beginnings. i'm only 23 but my first computer was a ibm pc jr with no hard drive. lol and of course it had no internet connection. after that my first "real" computer was a 386/33 with 2 megs of ram. i remember that i later added 2 more mb for like $50 per mb...
i have ACAM in a quotes list using esignal. when i entered the symbol, a red "R" was added to the end of it. i looked up with this meant in esignal and it defined it as "rights." what does this mean? should this matter to me as a trader?
thanks
i'm looking for a real time scanner that i could make custom scans with. for example, i would like to do something like this:
-yesterday's 5 day simple moving average is less than the previous day's
-today, stock is trading above yesterday's 5 day simple moving average
-other basic price...
with tc2000 (go to tc2000.com for more info) you could create a formula which would calculate a day's range. however, if you mean true range or average true range, i don't think it can do that.
just want to say what a great site this is! everything from site design to the knowledgeable members. this is the only message board i visit frequently! keep up the good work!
