there may be another way to do it, but here's one way: if(a1="0","",your formula) assuming this was put in a2 and it gets its result from a1. if the result is 0, it will put a blank in a2. if the result is not 0, it will do your formula.

a few years ago i took a computer class and they taught us some excel stuff. other than that, 99% of what else i know is from trial and error...but i'm sure there's plenty of info on the internet if you search for it. try http://www.google.com.

i didn't want to post this, but i have to vent. i was short ELN and i covered the morning of 6/26/02 around $6. my system did not tell me to cover, but i did anyway because it was such a bad morning for the stock market. four days later the stock closed below $2 and my system would have kept me...

i was surprised yesterday that there wasn't a sell off near the close. although the chances of an attack are probably very small, i still thought people would sell some longs before the close.

you sound like the typical poster on the yahoo message boards. you bought a stock, it went down, you held on, and now you're listing all the reasons why it shouldn't be going down. in the meantime, you're losing money. you may be right, you may be wrong, but all that matters is price itself...
