Where can I get historical fundamental data free? I did find couple of web sites providing intraday/end of the day price/volume information but did not find any information on fundamental data like EPS, ROE etc.

In my opinion, no college can teach you on becoming a successful trader. I did MBA with Finance concentration. It helped me to understand financial markets. After that I self studied to improve my knowledge. Hope it helps.

I do suggest to use VB6/VB.net to paint the screens. If you have Microsft Access software then you can use it as well. You don't need programming experience to paint screens. You can buy a dummies book and follow it. But you need to get the software first. VB is not cheap.
