If you buy from Dell Small Business there is no crapware. Also just bought 3 HP systems from Sam's - no crapware. If you buy the $299 systems from anyone, that price is offset by trash. Buy business class machines for $700-$800 and you're good to go.

You are buying stolen property because the seller is not paying the owner. With music, it's not as bas as say, new cars. If someone was selling brand new Cadillacs for $2k, you either knew or should have known they were stolen cars. At least that's how a prosecutor would frame it.

They're going to take your money, eat your battery sooner, generate more heat and cause more noise. You can get very good clock speeds from an i3 or i5.

Dell Small Business Vostro Ships Fast i3 or i5 with lots of RAM. I have one and can't hear it. Great machine. Don't fall for the i7. Look at the clock speeds on the i3 and i5. Less power consumption, less heat, less noise.
