In California the police no longer detain illegal alien DWIs. They can call their buddy to pick them up. This is because . . . anarcho-tyranny. Tyranny for the citizens and anarchy for everybody else.

Methods for gaining muscle and losing fat

I've lost about 10 pounds over the last few weeks following these recommendations for low reward food. The basic idea is that it isn't fat or carbs that makes us fat, it's the great taste that tastes great. Reduce the reward factor of your food and you will eat less and lose weight. I have found...

Cheapest Downtowns in the USA to buy property

Schools are only the key if you want to attract families. DC has gentrified without the schools improving at all. Schools are for suburbs.

"Corzine rule" proposed for futures brokers

How about no removing excess funds at all? Or only if the customer opts in. Actually the Corzine rule is the rule that you can lie and steal and get away with it as long as you're well connected.

    Imminent meltdown: NSB Advisors

I'm sorry you lost money. I've been there myself and know that it sucks. I'd suggest you think carefully about who is responsible. Putting a majority of a funds assets in a handful of stocks, and then buying up the float, is dangerous.

FRONTLINE: MF Global's Six Billion Dollar Bet

' He says in the link I posted above that he chose MF Global precisely because it wasn't too big to fail ie he could gamble all he wanted without any regulators because futures accounts are not insured. Even brokerage accounts are insured I think through SIPC.

    charts look awful

Going thru my charts, they look truly horrendous, as in a large number of stocks breaking long term support. Ugly. This chart though stood out. http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=VRNG&p=W&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&id=p55129620354
