By grabbing it in real time. There can be temporary imbalances in longer timeframes too plus there is a positive drift on the S&P. People need to put their retirement savings somewhere.

HFTs grab all of the real edge out of the markets so might as well use TA.

All options have time decay. I got assigned on a TLT call on Thursday morning before the market tanked and TLT shot up. It was around .80. I closed it out before the open. I lucked out with that one.

Are you getting assigned early and at what delta are your puts when you got assigned? Maybe I should get into the MARA trade. I can't hardly ever get early assigned in the tickers I am trading.

The Mag 7 megacap are all consumer facing. Even Nvidia was mostly known for its a graphics cards for gamers. You don't see Snowflake in the Mag 7. Hopefully AI will be relegated to an eternity of servitude.

That's all fine and dandy and the industry probably needs low labour costs. But you don't want to base your entire economy on that. It should be by gaining efficiencies through applied technology.

I thought it was common knowledge....I am diversifying into small caps, energy, utilities, etc. But I dont think it would matter if China invaded Taiwan while Biden is still in there. It would be exestential for the markets. Definitely not priced into the VIX.

It limits something. The Trump Trade is supposed to be a stronger dollar but he is also espousing bitcoin. I am sure its for votes....but if he wants both: a stronger dollar and appreciating bitcoin then the value needs to come out of something else. Maybe energy prices. Maybe megacaps.

Crypto is an inflation hedge. If the Fed didn't overprint. If the Govt didn't overspend there would be no reason for crypto.

The collective whole: MM's, hedge funds, pension funds, retail, etc. We all have our role, but the algos are better suited for picking up edge much more efficiently at scale. I don't think it makes sense for individuals to try to get an advantage on the algos. I just manage to be in certain...

I believe that the only real edge is if the futures market makes large enough moves in between the times that the options market isn't trading.
