I think there is one critical difference here. Bitcoin isn't going to be like a stock that will eventually come back down, or whose price needs to always be justified by company performance. Granted, we seem to have these bitcoin cycles every 4 years, but I'm convinced that the cycles will be...
Ok... who wants a juicy bullish conspiracy?
So I just watched this podcast from George Gammon. I really like his financial stuff. Here he is getting info on the Trump assassination attempt from his lawyer. They are working together on a case to sue the Fed, but this is mentioned just to...
That would be awesome!
So it looks like on the second set of trades, you scaled into a long 3 times, and puked them all for fairly big losses, right? But then you shorted and eventually made it all back and then some?
So far, we have witnessed you doing this several times, so I'm sure it...
Yup, I'm reading this from many sources, and even a good one on Twitter, Dennis Porter.
Sadly, the price isn't reacting too much to be honest.
I honestly do think that even though all of these guys (government) initially wanted to eliminate any competition to the USD, if you realize that...
This is specifically why I made the post. I wasn't gonna believe the Twitter crowd, but I knew there would be guys here who could dig into the details and perhaps even go through the tape. That bloomberg terminal screenshot is disappointing if its just a summary of what's reported.
But its also interesting to note that the company apparently has never had to do a revision before. So its kind of ironic that this was the trade they got wrong.
Plus, I thought the screenshot from the Bloomberg screen was somehow an actual fill or something, not just what is reported, but I...
Ok... what can you experts here say about this post....
Does the conclusion that there was prior knowledge of the assassination attempt make sense if you look at the huge order?
There is a followup post with a screenshot from Bloomberg terminal
I'm not sure if I ever saw someone suggest this. All his writing followed the same pattern of grammar and spelling mistakes, etc. Perhaps he was the front man, and as you suggest the one who wrote the paper, but I think if its a group of people, it would be very difficult to keep everyone...
There have been lots of reports by many different people, and they even did an analysis of who it can likely be like Hal, or Nick Szabo, or other suggestions. The interesting part is that they say Satoshi wasn't the best coder or cryptographer, I forget which, but he did put it all together...
Not email evidence I'm referring to but time stamps of his posts. It was concluded that Satoshi was likely in the Pacific time zone, so that does line up with Hal very well. I find the topic fascinating, but I also respect the idea that it should be left alone.
You sound convinced that Hal is Satoshi?
Edit... I did see a study done on Satoshi's postings, and some were made while Hal for running in races... Jameson Lopp did a great analysis there.
Back then, it was all way more rudimentary than it is now. The hardware wallets we use these days generate a new address for every transaction, but that new address comes from just one private key, so its super easy to generate thousands of addresses and have access to all of them.
Now its...
I'm honestly not getting too excited anymore, and I also don't think we will get too much action in the alts. I know I'm the newest guy to crypto, but I just don't see the bullrun of 2020 happening again. People aren't locked in homes and there isn't going to be as much stimulus this time...
I do apologize if you think I came off angry, but I really don't think so, and I don't think my post was hateful at all. I just couldn't believe the 5 pages of negative posts when the big guys at the top have spoken.
I'm just trying to drill it into your heads that it doesn't matter what FUD...
Wow.. how did I miss this thread? Sorry John that you're going at it alone here! LOL... I of course heard of the news, but just didn't see this thread.
Reading through the 5 pages, its just so obvious how early we are given all the hate in this thread. Missing from the post is that he owns...
If I'm reading this right, on the second set of trades, you first went long at 20677, which was a loss, and so then you exited at 20,655 for I guess a loss of 22 points, and then went short there, and then short again a bit lower at 20649?
