Opposite leg started at 09.33 In 12-14 minutes I expect the main leg to start, around the 07.75 area.

For the morning session, main leg will be up proceeded by a smaller opposite leg... My natural state and enthusiasm is to share. However there will be much more work to do until I have the structure in place, data compiled, etc. Some bumps to be evened also. In addition, will be busy with my...

I'm not going to call my trades / orders here any more for two reasons. Firstly, on a day like today we will be fast and volatile, and I will take many trades. Posting here is a distraction. Second, I think I've just finally worked out the important aspects of the methodology hinted by ET...

Should sell for at least 20 minutes. Open in 40. Might get to stay in this trade. Don't think we've seen LOD yet.

Good morning traders. Plan on going short 15 even. Six tick stop. Expect 1300 to trade again today.

    Bund's off the leash

Damn, I took bund off my screens about 4 months ago. Should have thought to take a look but was too busy with the Dax/Euro. The numpties that average down into those spikes but with too many lots blew out in '08 never to return I guess? The new blood has been drummed in not to do it by the...

    Futures spread trading

Please, when are you going to learn? You claim to wish to improve your knowledge by learning from what others post. Then you proceed to filter based on who is writing and not the content of what is written. In addition you alienate those most in a position to help. There is no need to be so...

Ninja...still debugging! I haven't used them since 2006 if I recall - and they had plenty of bugs then. I saw it wasn't going anywhere so switched to better platforms. Agree with you about pit noise. Perhaps there are some ex pit guys using it at a screen, but the pit edge isn't there at the...

Bears lost target? I think most small traders are bulls today, going long after breaks to new lows and being stopped out when we go lower. Pressure of losses on the day leading people to force trades and become more desperate to get it back, getting long again thinking "it can't go any...

Bloomberg Economic Calendar - http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/economic-calendar/ Only to check up on times of major announcements so I can be flat, and for minor announcements so I can use discretion whether to hold. Wouldn't know how to make sense of the pit noise, and the vast bulk of the...

No, we have different views, so only one of us will be right. ES gone 12.50 offered so iloveoptions is filled on his add. He is now fully long, and unless we hear otherwise we can assume that a 2 point stop is quite likely. Now if 1310.50 trades he has given away his chips to someone else...

And puking where? With the standard two point stop, you could be selling to me at 1310.50. Does anyone consider that the first leg down after a big rally is primarily people stepping in to "buy the dip" as has been working so well for the last N sessions / days / weeks. Except this no longer...

I understand. So you're trading $40/point at NADEX which is 4/5ths of a standard lot, but presumably you are using them so you can scale your orders and not to be all in / all out as you would be trading 1 lot on the CME. I don't trust the upside here until 1310.50 is taken out.

That is all cool. Just take it easy when presuming that you have offended people. I was just asking some simply questions...no need to make it personal. This is the emini S&P thread. 1 contract is worth 50x the index value, so 3 contract would mean a P&L change of $150 for every full point...

I asked some questions. Nothing in my post indicated any offence, and I even agreed with you about not expecting a rally in this location. Your reply to me sounds like you are more interested in your ego than in trading.

What do you mean by "delta"? What would it need to show to "confirm" a bounce? What does oversold mean and how do you determine such a condition? Why is a 50 dma relevant? On what timeframe? One generally does not expect "a huge rally" on the first leg down after a top, when the ES is down 8...

    Scalping ES

Hey, that is not clever. Not to pick on you specifically, but this point has to be made. I've seen a lot of posters abusing bone in the last few weeks. Getting on in this business requires an open mind and a willingness to acknowledge our own weaknesses and inexperience, no matter what level...
