    eSignal 7.2 & eSignalCentral.

Does someone know when the eurex feed for esignal is going to be improved? I heard that there would be a new provider from 1st January this year but I dont seem to see any improvements yet. Thanks.

    Esignal versus mytrack

I have just realised that esignal have "about" three months of intraday data on their server (will shortly rise to 12 months) as opposed to mytrack who I think only about 2 weeks of intra day data. Theres a bit of gueswork in the above figures but I`m not that far off at all.

    Esignal versus mytrack

Could anyone who knows kindly say whether the esignal data feed is any way better than that offered by mytrack for the purposes of intra day trading stocks, eminis. I already aware that mytrack's eurex data is better feed than their esignal equivelant. Any informative responses will be...

    Trading the S&P/DJIA spread

That means its a very intelligent yet pragmatic approach to trading then because there little risk coupled with a possibilty of reasonable gain. Esctrader do you think you could say what period of moving average you look at at and also over what time frame (s) ie whether its say for...

    Trading the S&P/DJIA spread

Esctrader, Thank you for your describing your innovative trading techniques which quite frankly I have not seen anywhere else. I think from what you described yesterday its fair to say that your exit is very discretional ie subjective. This sounds risky to me as in my experience human...

I'm the most consistent trader in the world

Hi, Is the strategy that you are using to create all these losses mechanical or discretionary? Also how many times per day on average do you trade? Thanks

    Trading the S&P/DJIA spread

Thanks for the reply esctrader, Things are getting much clearer now. Now you just mentioned:- "Also, I will take a profit before it hits the other side of the BB." Would you be willing to say how you calculate WHEN you take a profit ? Thanks for your time.

    Trading the S&P/DJIA spread

Hi esctrader, Sorry to hear that you are down on your current position. I posted a message a few days ago asking whether you use a stoploss but I never received a reply. Is it the case that so far you have not used a stop loss. If so how was it calculated. Also please can you confirm...

    Trading the S&P/DJIA spread

Hi Esctrader, I was wondering whether you would be willing to say whether or not you use a stop loss in your strategy. Or do you simply buy when price spread is at the bottom of the bollinger band and close the position as soon as the price hits the top bollinger band. I am merely asking a...

'Day' trading versus 'End of Day' trading

Thanks to the interesting responses above. Yes its true that gapping can destroy an end of day futures trader. I think that a leveraged currency trader may be less susceptible to this kind of behaviour because they trade around the clock. Could be wrong though so dont take my word for it!

esctrader that was a very helpful response. Thats what I like about your thread:- its full of substance

'Day' trading versus 'End of Day' trading

I have never seen any evidence either way to suggest that day trading is more profitable than end of day trading (partly because I havent really looked!!). Personally I think E.O.D. is more profitable but that is only my experience. Which of the two above types of trading do you think are...

    Trading the S&P/DJIA spread

Hello esctrader, I was wondering whethre you would be willing to outline the strategy you use. I am personally totally unfamiliar with spread treading although I am very familiar with technical analsis and fundamental analysis. Its only natural to be curious about something one has not...
