tenaru This is what confuses me. When I go to display properties it does not show two monitors, just one. The way yours works is the way I want mine to work. I guess I'll try reinstalling it.

As an aside, I saw an OEM version of 2000 Pro on the net for $210 which is not much different from the full version of XP

The upgrade installs over another o/s. The full version is a clean install. I just switched over to 2000Pro and didnt have any problems but I did a clean install. I think a lot of the problems arise when you upgrade another o/s.

Found the answer to my own question. Was going to let the thread drop but on the miniscule chance that someone else could run into the same problem, I'll post it. Windows 2000 has a problem recognizing two ATI Rage 128 video cards. It will recognize one but not two. Strange.
