It's B1S2's thread. He seems to be really saying he is bullish short term (swing, not day) and bearish longer term swing after Christmas etc... I could be wrong but again it's his thread... Good trading all... I'm flat as of 835ish double tops on 15 min. Just watching the pros and fools now.

IF GM and or other BIG names go Chapter 7,11 we have not hit bottom. I know Cramer said this too, so now I'm doubting myself a bit. But those job losses and the shock and awe of several huge negative "surprises" yet to come will push us lower. I expect a somewhat extended holiday bounce but...

Is this because unlike other equities, financials have been "floating" down rather than falling on earnings? TARP uncertainty, Buffett intervention, shorts, buyouts, and ... The uncertainty kept the sector scary enough to slide down gently but most did not get the free fall needed until TARP...

No matter how it's stated, letting Bush's tax cuts expire = tax increase. Obama won't be able to spin that as a non-increase... I agree with no additional stimulus though. Lower gas prices (if they hold at $2.25-2.30 or less) equals 750B to 900B in stimulus anyway.

Quite frankly, economic agony was my concern with Hillary. With NObama economic concerns, although serious, are secondary to National Security/Survival. :(

You forgot option 4... Reduce military and intelligence of the U.S. to levels equal to a marginal 3rd world country. Without these expenses his plans are partially possible. He can do this of course because the world worships him and recognizes he is out for the global good. So no more...

Of the 3, the techs are probably OK but NO NO on C. Not sure about MSFT, but at $14 or less for INTC you get a 4% DIV; not bad (not great) if it drops more before rising. CSCO just has good solid market position and cash to weather the storm. Contraction is evident but largely priced in...
