Rant to Give Obama a Chance

A short term senator with an extreme liberal voting record is not a centrist. My moral views will not be swayed in the name of "unity" and I disagree with most of his agenda. His socialist big government leanings are scary because the sheeple are frightened and might cave in. Other than that...

    DXO/DTO Traders out there?

This bothers me. Not your comment but the numbers. BAC CEO said his company was fine, slight profit decline yes but in no need of TARP and... etc... oh... wait... now BAC is $5.00 Do you guys really know what the break even / profit point is in U.S. $ to get one (1) barrel of Mideast oil...

SPY has broken all support - market crash imminent

Political rant... ignored. But I view the coffers being raided as accurate. It's just that I believe the left wing congress, Clinton... (oh wait now I'm ranting...) The overall point about over spending our way to wealth not working is spot on. But, we all have opinions on what portions...

    5% - 10% profit per day trading

With the sideways action playing out now... I'm watching only, since my indicators are blown... by news and holiday likely. However if it hits 40.50ish/40.55ish that would be a buy point but I'd put stop above LOD at say 40.30ish to be conservative. This is scalping only and closely monitoring...

    5% - 10% profit per day trading

I have a day job, Tue-Fri so Monday and eve's are my trade times. Been trading since July when I closed my traditional IRA and moved it to IB to trade myself. I consider the IRA already lost because of Oct/Nov so it helps me out with the psychology aspect. I have a pension and a decent job so...

    5% - 10% profit per day trading

2 normal CL contracts, often 1 (small fry.) Never more than 3 for avg in or out. Bigger stops than targets. Not liking the weakness in ES or the news today. Conflict ending should be good news but u know what I mean.

OK thanks. I see the close as very clearly indicating we go up or down or sideways next week. :D (admit bias short term bull.) But gotta see how she goes. Agree, news could affect.

LC & others... If ES goes above 855/60 and closes in that area, does that have any significance with options exp? I get that based on technicals more downside is expected if we don't close above 55/60 (depending on trader's indicators.) But with opt exp if we close at or near 45/50 range why...

Not beyond the 48/49 range as that would be too close to opening range and options junk for me. I did load up on UYG for weekend though.

Pure speculation. I frequently get the urge to catch the knife and I have learned to scratch the itch (infrequently) with a few small positions and money/tick management. It works for my psych management, but certainly don't recommend it. No double downs, revenge etc... stop is stop and I...
