Maybe they don't block the trades in software because maybe they allow some customers to place those type of trades. But then some customers they don't. That's my hypothesis.

correction. he got the limit price he wanted. doubtful that any trader would just sit there and let that happen. just close out the position before expiration.

I am sure OP will find another broker and execute this or similar strategies. Maybe if he would have had more account equity TT wouldn't have had an issue with what he was doing but exactly what that equity requirement is maybe poopy could explain as I'm not so sure.

Look at the screenshot. It says "LMT". That means he is using Limit orders.

Hopefully he at least got paid the $800 or whatever it was. Fair is fair. He was doing deep in the money "diagonal" put credit spreads. He made the $800 in about 3 hours. Not a bad minimum wage.
