Hi The Exit at X3 is the only and final exit - The trade was then completely closed out. My Stops are always moving in tandem with the underlying and I don't have a target price as I just let the underlying run. Cheers Shelton

I have been actively trading since Jan 2009 and have not blown my account so it is possible to survive. I mainly trade futures and have traded Options. It took me 5 years to come up with my own system. It is bloody hard work but not impossible! Regards

I don't think you understand what diversification really means. What you did with your corn and soy trade is not diversification. Regards Shelton

Michael Grains are quoted in cents per bushel. So 193 will be $1.93. Min. price fluctuations is .25cents (quarter of a cent) at $12.50 per contract. A 20 cent move is $1000. (20 / .25 x 12.50 =$1000), therefore a 1 cent move is (1 / .25 ) x 12.50 = $50. Cheers Shelton

Got my ass kicked with DE rallying yesterday.... took some risk off the table by buying back 2 calls - so now I have 3 short calls. Looking to liquidate all positions and take a loss. Didn't work out - should have kept the LONG stock. Cheers

ouch - DE rallies with the market today - hanging on...

closed my long 300 stock at breakeven - now I am only short the 5 calls and looking for a drop in DE to exit position at breakeven or better.

stoic has 550+ posts so don't think he is a troll - I think he just doesn't see the need to use Greeks in options trading which is all good - each to his own i guess.

IV will increase as the stock approaches $13 and as minmike said your short vega, also you have gamma risk as the stock approaches $13 meaning the short call is going to increase slightly faster than your long call due to the increasing nature of Delta. Regards Shelton
