Ya, I agree, my daily unrealized losses can be that big when I'm in volatile markets... You'd have to trade 1 mini contract, or 100 shares to only risk 2000 bucks... However, if I was bored, just wanted to try the markets for a little, then sure, why not... I mean, it's better to cut your losses...

It's all about where Germany and Japan are going right now... The bund couldn't make new lows, we got a pop in treasuries also... Now that all three areas are looking like they're in a tightening cycle, all three should be very well correlated... One of the reasons for inversion is because 4.5...

If they really wanted to hedge the position going into Monday they'd just buy the US, which I suspect they are doing... Then they can spend the next couple weeks unwinding...
