You mean a RET to the DL after the break? I'm still in with an entry at 84.75, which was immediately after the first push. The cleaner entry would have maybe been 85.50.

If one does not consider to trade the range, which seems wide enough, we look for a break out of the range and a retracement.

Chop, really typical for this time of day. I noticed it time and time again that 10:30 is not the time to trade. 10:40 to 50 is usually better. But it's just an observation. DB, what did you mean with "Hinge takes to long"? Wasn't there a clean break up at 10:19 roughly?

I don't think that it is really recommended to trade timeframes this low and then take a nap. If you read DBs threads he elaborates a lot on staying active and don't just let the stop be hit. At the end, your trade is just a small loser with the break of the supply line or said in another...

This is absolutely true. My problem today was that I held some of the trades for too long. I took number 7 and 8 niko marked. This parabolic fall stuff - or lets say a very steep demand line in that case, to stick to the scope of the thread - is something which I try to get used to in terms of staying out of the chop. As DB stated before, there is a lot of potential for retests which could lead to overlapping swings...

Thanks DB, actually I meant the break of the supply or demand line of the move towards the upper or lower limits. The thing is that if one decides to trade the range, which might be 6 or so points wide, then there is not much room for a retracement entry.
