How about this proverb: Don't trade!

There are only two types: the winners and elite traders.

I wrote it a long time ago, and idiots thoughts that it did not make sense. I would have liked it if global warming were a possibility. A lot of great things could be made from global warming, but it won't happen unfortunately. Global cooling on the other hand is a real serious possibility.

SPY @ 188.09. +35 ticks (I assume that by tick some at ET mean the word cent)! 35 ticks in 15 minutes! Trading is probably a zero to negative sum activity.

I like today's stock market. I posted the signal on my real time trades blog. Let's see how many around here would get the direction right, and for those who do, who would get the highest number of, some would say, ticks. SPY at 187.20. + 5 ES points.

The models issued a mild short side signal at 164.40 area. PS: 10 minutes later, DIA is trading at 164.18. I do not know what the precise definition of a tick is, but if it means cents, that is +22 ticks or 2 ticks per minute. Ticks sound nicer to the reader, but fuzzy to the person who likes...
