Simply put, the broker is doing it wrong, just showing "potential" wash sales. Search for the Robert Green article about this. I don't know of any broker who does it right. With only 1 stock, maybe you can do it manually, or else you need software like tradelog to calculate your real tax liability.

I think NISTtime just corrects the clock once. You need NTP which runs as a service, predicts the drift to constantly and smoothly adjust the clock. You can disable Windows time in services - Start -> Run -> services.msc

Yes this is true, the clock will have worse drift when a Java app is running. But a real NTP service can still do a pretty good job of correcting it.

Windows clock correction isn't smooth enough. Disable Windows Time Service and install Meinberg NTP, which will "slew" the clock instead of time stepping.

Does the internet work at all? Try rebooting the cable modem or dsl modem when you switch PC's. Some modem lock onto a certain MAC address.
