what happnes if im selling a call/put and its in the money and the buyer decides to execute the option when its IN THE MONEY what happpnes in my account i bassiclly will be long / short the underlaying?

Going live on the first of June

hey I have a June 11th ES exp@2700 Now at the current time it’s holding at 2718 the option is worth 468$ now I can sell a may 31 call for 1300$ but if it expired in the money I won’t see any of that cash in my “realized profit” right ?

Actually now I understand exactly what happned that makes sense and as u can see in my other posts I was debating if to go live in June after a year of demo trading and there is always learning curves somewhere but all in all I’m still almost 35% profit YTD on the demo ofcourse ;) thanks a lot...

IB there calls get disconnected they don't call back they follow up ob tickets 2/3 days after its crazy
