yup. Just cashed in a long trade on DOW for about 35pts at about £18/pt. Balance upto £70,024.

One of the advantages of abn, the opening hours are great.

The losses were from overnight trades that I didnt think through. As I base position sizes and stops on atr, when volatility decreases I increase my position size and decrease the stop distance. Its not perfect but it works for me.

got my 'balls' working. Now about 2k up. V close to the 70k mark now.

2 trades got stopped out with 70 & 80pt stop losses at about £12-14/pt. No biggie, 1 or 2 trades are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Considering the short side today.

I've just checked my spreadsheets and my mean % daily profit is 14.86, the median being 7.56. Mean daily profit is £3140. I've attached the chart plotting capital.

depends on the stop loss but I have used as high as £25/pt. That was with a stop of about 50-60 pts. Was risking about 3.5% IIRC. I'm aiming for 100k by the end of November..

Another mad day. Over 11k in profit since my cutoff point last night. Balance is now £67,808. Sold the dow at 8466, only checked it 20mins ago and my take profit had been hit at 8150. Lovely stuff. I think my best trades are when I set and forget.

I use the 1min, 5min and 30min. I go in and out based on the 1min though.
