Trading the Market on Close strategy ?

Redi has market indications for opening and closing. You don't need to put in MOC orders as previously stated, I usually wait for the bell to ring on CNBC and will wait about 2 seconds before sending a MARKET order in. It is usually a decent fill, of course there are the times when you're...

    Good book

I've been using Opening Range breakouts ( a la Toby Crabel) with some success which appears to be very similar to the ACD method. From what I 've read of the book, just skimmed the first couple of chapters, it appears to use the first 20 minutes (for stocks) high and low as pivot points from...

    NYSE openbook traders

I use a variety of things at the open, such as opening range, pivot points, price RS to futs, etc. in conjunction with the tape and open book to trade early.

    NYSE openbook traders

I trade off the size, when a large bid or offer come on the book, it usually causes a reaction, I try to capitalize on that on the one stock I'm presently trading. It doesn't always move away from the size obviously, and at times its gets filled like nothing, but traders are definitely...

    Can Elitetrader influence the markets?

You got to remember, of the 13,000 at least 3000 of those are people that already have an acct. Another 4000 stopped reading it, of the remaining, 1/2 probably don't trade. Leaving you about 3000 or so active Elite traders. Don't think so.

    Pairs Trading Strategy Model

I was looking into trading pairs, and I wrote a simple spreadsheet which was linked to TC2000, and basically followed some spreads that way. Here is a link to show what my SS basically looks like. This hasn't been updated lately. http://www.geocities.com/joebhernandez/spreads.htm

    E-Mini Point and Figure

Not Point and Figure, just a 93% sucess rate because a stock was hit a triple bottom during a bear market. That type of sucess rate is what is no longer valid.

    E-Mini Point and Figure

That Purdue study is no longer valid. Here's an excerpt written by Michael Burke of Chartcraft, the authority on Point and Figure. The full article is available at http://www.chartcraft.com under "Blast from the Past" in the stocks section and I highly recommend it. "Triple Tops...

    Bullish Percent Index ($BPXXXXXX)

Bullish % charts were not originated by Stockcharts. Atin Maliya (sic?), wrote the program for the PnF charts on that site ( he's a regular contributor on SI), and I believe he emulates Chartcraft's way of calculating it, but as posted earlier the exact stocks used in the calculation may differ.
