While it's sad to see QT being sold, I feel relieved at the same time that I still have my Ameritrade account. QT by far has one of the best charting capabilites around. I hope the software remains free to all users.

I've been having the same problem. I'm suspecting it's due to the recent update to their website where the market data is automatically refreshed. For audio live newsfeed, I recommend newsstrike.com

2 dual cards are cheaper than one quad card. i checked the price on this quad card and it's mid $400? i can get 2 dual for half of that. plus, as many mentioned on this board, it'll be better in case a card goes dead. at least you'll still have 2 monitors working if one goes kaputt, whereas...

For me, using a headset(instead of speakers) helped to hear both announcers w/ no problem.

Prop trading in Seattle area has been dead since 2001 or so. I dont think any firm is going to open here anytime soon. The closest ones I know of are two prop firms(Swift in Vancouver, Bright in Langley) in BC, Canada.
