    Very bullish

Thanks to those who gave me kudos. It's not a winning trade yet as I have yet to cash out the position and in this swing trade. Again, thanks to those who recognized that this was a market call not a lesson--it's nice to see that not all posts on this forum get bashed by everybody.

    Very bullish

The intent of the post was to publish my views on the market, not to explain how I arrive at my views and I think this is perfectly valid.

    Very bullish

No, I'm just unwilling to tell the whole world what I look at when I enter a trade. It's perfectly valid to state your opinion on the markets and leaving it at that--but of course at elitetrader there must be conflict.

    Very bullish

Hold me accountable to my call... I'm not going to brag if I'm right and I'm not going to go hide if I'm wrong. I have my money where my mouth is and if I'm right then I'm right and I'm sure I'll make a call in the future where I am wrong and you can jump all over me.

    Very bullish

Hajimow, please read my post again, and again, and again, I said I was a swing trader from the beginning, I never changed my stance. I am very bullish for a swing trade, and maybe if you read my initial post 500 times you'll get a hold of yourself and understand what is being said.

Re-read my original post. "will hold for a swing." therefore I am holding for a swing. :)

    Very bullish

Like I said.. it's a swing trade.. and if you bought the Nasdaq for a swing trade at the beginning of May you would be up a quite a bit--it's all about timing.

I'm very bullish this market right now based on the technicals. I have put on a size-able position (size-able relative to my small acct) in the dow futures and will hold for a swing. Best of luck to all

NHL CBA deal almost done, what stocks will benefit?

I like the TAP play, especially if they continue sponsoring Hockey Night in Canada.

NHL CBA deal almost done, what stocks will benefit?

Great! Thanks Gekko! I was wondering if it is possible to get in this trust through Interactive Brokers or if there is some sort of play, whether it be an American stock or a Canadian stock traded on the NYSE or Nasdaq that I can buy through my broker, I.B. Thanks

NHL CBA deal almost done, what stocks will benefit?

The NHL and NHLPA are very close to signing a new Collective Bargaining Agreement which will ensure there will in fact be a hockey season next year. What companies suffered the most from the NHL season being cancelled and should rebound by the continuation of play this season? Right now I am...

    machine trading replacing us?

When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter who or what is doing the trading, it's still all based on supply and demand. Any day the Dow moves 100+ pts then there is a supply/demand issue within that trading session, it is not a bunch of computers screwing around sending us to intraday extremes...

    handgun's journal

My technical analysis is unconventional I suppose. I have a list of stocks I think fundamentally have an upside potential and monitor them intraday. I watch the intraday action and try to get a feel for what the demand is throughout the day. If I see in a day that bulls assume control then I...

    handgun's journal

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my stock picks with the public in the hope of helping others while also learning from the readers criticism;s. I rely on company fundamentals while using technical analysis for timing. I already have a few positions in my portfolio but I will only...

    We've all heard this before...

I don't want to sound negative but if you are just starting out, reglardless of what license you have, it should take atleast 2 yrs. to be consistently profitable. It's the type of business where I honestly don't think you can be a great trader without being a horrendus trader at the beginning...
