    DMI/ADX consistently works

Big discussion on how to chart the DMI/ADX, can't offer any opinion on that. This chart shows the indicator set to '10', with a 20 period SimpleMA above and Donchian's moving average crossover on the bottom....the DMAC is set to moving average lengths of 3 and 12 and uses an ExponentialMA. The...

    the future

I think this is an instrument best left for options traders. I haven't gained any discernable advantage by attempting to trade off the VIX or the VXN intraday. I'm probably just lazy that way.

    Who is Woodie???

Dude, Ever the rugged individualist, eh? Hey, when people feel good about their work, they want to share it. When they feel lousy, they want to commiserate. How is a trading room any different from any other entrepreneurial business? Someone has a vision for what can be and launches out...

    Who is Woodie???

Dude, What's your gripe? If you are making money off these folks, then why berate them? If their experience of trading is different from yours, why do you demand proof for validation? No one has demanded proof from you to validate your experience. Take a chill pill.

    Who is Woodie???

was curious about the top indicator... http://www.stockcharts.com/education/IndicatorAnalysis/indic_stochasticOscillator.html I used 30 for the highest high value and 86 for the lowest low value. Smoothing value is still the standard 3. Note: Just rechecked my formula, I smooth it...
