Sogo Invest, - New King of Brokers - $1.5 for 5000 shares

Goto http://www.gndt.com/ Sogo invest is merely a retail shell for their Laser platform. I track a realtime feed (Time and sales) and no sooner do I hit the submit button in my browser do I see my order show through on T&S (usually 2 seconds) I'm sure if you ask them, they will tell...

Sogo Invest, - New King of Brokers - $1.5 for 5000 shares

$1.00 a trade for the 1st 90 days up 5,000 shares. $1.50 a trade on the platinum plan ($15.00) month I average about 60 trades per month. So my monthly commission cost with Sogo is about $105.00 On their Bronze plan ($3 / trade) I would end up paying $180/ month in commission fees.

    Trade-Ideas Tech Issues

What he said. One idea is to set up an alert page for just that type of alert and tune your filters to dump extraneous data (like low volume issues and price range) then you would get all the MA crossovers for any stocks that meet your price range and minimum volume requirements. You get too...

Why do you Like Tradestation Program and Brokerage

Bad thing when it isnt adaptable to the way the OS works. There is a lot to be said about OS Specific apps. However TWS is very useable. Had to adapt to the way the program works. It would be nice if I could change a few things about it via preferences so it is more Aqua friendly. But that...

Mac for trading? - I have a few questions.

Amibroker is pretty easy to code for. I coded some quick strategies and they coded very well. My Only complaint with amibroker is the portfolio window didnt account for margin. Although backtesting does.

Mac for trading? - I have a few questions.

Well after fiddling with the TWS program a little more, I had decided to jump back into InvestorRT and go with IB for my brokerage. These are of course Dedicated Mac Programs (at this point) so you will not get the system slowdown you get while running Windows and OSX on the same computer...

Why do you Like Tradestation Program and Brokerage

I can find plenty of information (OLD mind you) about why people HATE Tradestation. In general, on the net more people complain than give great reviews) Just my experience for you statisticians. I am seeking information about the Good of TradeStation. Please dont hold back. If you love the...

    MAC Charting Software

OS X has a look and feel. Developers who respect Apples API's have apps that follow that look and feel. That is what I mean by MacEsque. Certain apps that are recoded dont FEEL like mac apps. they dont have a consistent flow and they balk against the ease of use Long time MacUsers are used...

Mac for trading? - I have a few questions.

I ran InvestorRT till I started using QuoteTracker. (I have mutuals with Etrade so I use their realtime data feed) Semi free. They dont charge fees on IRA accounts but my mutuals just languish. LOL.

Mac for trading? - I have a few questions.

I'm fine. Thanks. I figured you might have some answers that might help other mac users who are looking at the transition. As a Diehard MAc user, I understand a lot of the issues with PC and mac life coexisting. as a Parallels fan since they introduced the software, I have been able to...

Mac for trading? - I have a few questions.

Doesnt sound like you need dual core. On my macbook, parallels runs windows on one Chip and I have alloted only 256MB to the entire program/OS, etc... And yes you can easily run that and some graphics design software at the same time. I have traded and run Photoshop CS3 at the same time...
