Series 3? Hey, the guy who sold it to me for a really good price said it had Jesse Livermore's ghost trapped in it... Wait... maybe that explains it... they're cotton prices! 0.7729, not 77.29!!! :D

    Day Traders: Losing Days

Nodoji, if you have a hard-coded system that you can automate as a strategy, you can do that and yet, if for some reason you prefer to take the signals manually (say, because you think/know that you can do better than an automated execution in terms of slippage, heat, etc.) you may want to try...

    Day Traders: Losing Days

I like the one by one system. I started with *never* averaging (down - up is part of my system), then *always* respecting my stop, then only taking the excellent setups and now I'm in the not picking valid signals phase :) What (has so far) helped me was to track non-forced errors and...

Sometimes is better to be lucky than to be good :D (not saying you're not good - nice timing on the "meltup" twitter).

If I may ask, are you adding on $TICK extremes (+1200) or based on something else? Edit: Thanks, Ammo!

    CL Redux

My cursed Ouija board says position traders are entering long before the close, so... good luck with that long (if ES and EUR break out of their chop to the upside I see a HOD breakout)... or not

    CL Redux

I very seldom trade breakouts, I prefer to defend (stop .20) If/when I trade breakouts I enter *before* the breakout with a very tight stop. Edit: Oh, and you are sooo unethical I don't know where to start :D

I'd say the report was moderately bullish: Crude: -4.9 vs. -2.0 expected (tighter supply than expected by -2.9) Gasoline: +1.2 vs. 0.1 expected (more ample supply by +1.1) Distillates: +0.3 vs. +1.6 expected (tighter supply by -1.3) In all -3.1 tighter. I think oil is dropping...

    CL Redux

True, I was about to take it back, but was busy seeing my long euro from 1.2595 (added 1.2611 + added 1.2616) pay for another installment of my SIM Ferrari (didn't take the trade live because I don't like trading the euro after London's close, plus the Spain-Germany semifinal is in a little...

    CL Redux

I've been looking for a place to go short for a while, but I just don't see one (without hindsight). Any ideas? Somebody leaning long from these levels? If we break 73.80 I see 74.40+, but I just don't see euro up to it.

What books shaped your trading mind?

"Women are directly adapted to act as the nurses and educators of our early childhood, for the simple reason that they themselves are childish, foolish, and short-sighted — in a word, are big children all their lives, something intermediate between the child and the man, who is a man in the...
