You should have used a short sell limit order at 35.24. A sell stop order becomes a market order to sell once the stock trades at or below your stop price.A buy stop order becomes a market order to buy once the stock trades at or above your stop price.

Why would anyone use anything but Island,since it is the cheapest ECN?

Wouldn't it be easier to just use ARCA since you only pay one small fee per share,with no other pass-thru fees, and it gives you the chance to trade with MM's and all the ECN's, instead of only with MM's using Supersoes?
