Are there any SCALPERS on this board ??

Pitufo, your firm must LOVE you for all the commissions you generate for them. I think it would be better to trade higher priced Nasdaq stocks(at least $30 or more)instead of $10 stocks, and target 5-10 good trades a day with a profit goal of 30 cents or more per share.

I don't understand how you can find trading opportunities every few minutes. There are many times through out the course of a day when the market is just treading water. What do you do then? What kinds of profit per share are you looking for during these slow times?

    Echotrade

TraderJim, i see that Echo offers .004 per share for ARCA orders. When trading Nasdaq, does this fee include the selectnet and supersoes fees or does one pay the .004 ARCA fee plus those nasdaq fees? Also, is it .004 whether adding or removing liquidity?

Trading 1000 times a day = 2 or 3 trades a minute. I find that very hard to believe.

Thanks Jim. Seems like ISLD is the best way to go. Trade 1 million shares a month on ISLD,add liquidity, get a check for $1,100. No complaints here.

    ARCA question

This question is addressed to anyone familiar with the ARCA ECN and Nasdaq trading. The market is 20.00 x 20.01. I have an offer on ARCA at 20.01 for 1000 shares. Now let's say there are no ISLD or INCA offers anywhere on their books. Now an ISLD or INCA order comes in to buy 1000 at 20.10...

    Market makers and stops

The only ECN that i know of that accepts stop and stop-limit orders is ARCA. These orders are held on the ARCA server. In that case, how would market makers see these orders ?
