Andy, what kind of profit do you intend to gain if you are giving up 20 pts? It is not realistic to catch a trend midway (your reversals) and expect 40 pts intraday. I expect I am missing something, but how many big gainers have you booked to go with these big drawdowns and lost profits...

Notice how this didn't happen when every Tom, Dick, and Harry was trading..... The uproar from the wannabe trader masses would have been more than they could have ignored. Now that most of the "daytraders" are out of the business, the SEC/AMEX figures that the ones left aren't numerous...

Red day today, but not huge damage. I kind of regresssed to my old tricks of missing the good trades and catching the bad ones. I am going to have to find a new trading vehicle. The SPYs are tough enough without the hassle of no ISLD quotes. I am not very interested in routing elsewhere...

Three small green and a tie. AA +.15 IP +.10 AZN +.18 and..... HI .00 HI gave me a very hard time, I held through a pretty stiff drawdown which came about very quickly. Was I dumb and lucky?? Here is the chart.

Well actually I was covering the long as you suggested was wise. Unfortunately I already had the buy order in for FOX, and it hit while I was preoccupied with BLS. Your point however is well taken. Let you winners work for you and lose the iffy ones.

Got +.01 on BLS. (long) Held it for about 15min.. decided to jump ship whan it came back to my buy point. FOX (short) +.30, had the buy order in ahead of time, and it finally hit. Can't complain.
