Did something different today. I took advantage of Allen Z and reality trader's kind offer of a free day in Allen's futures room. So I tagged along on some of Allen's trades.... and did fairly well. I was also trading some stocks, ( I have been trying out thier stock trading room too )...

No fills again today. May have to examine my envelope. Dodged a couple of troubles in UB and MMC. They opened fairly late and I scratched canceled them. Good thing.

Tampa, You can export IB executions to a "something" delimited format, then copy this into an Excel spreadsheet. Do a "text to columns" conversion and you have a spreadsheet that is very easy to manipulate any way you want. This is a very quick process after you get used to it. See my...

Was there news out on banks today? I didn't see any on briefing. Am I blind. If you all saw news on banks (bad) or major drug mfg (good), where did you see it? I dodged bullets on the banks only because I got 4 quick fills (not on banks) and canceled the rest of my orders. Looking...

Profitseer, I had to copy out your paragraph on fear and save it. You probably just described 75% of my trading. I am working on that aspect right now. But it was helpful to see it spelled out.

I haven't been doing much outside of opening orders. I am still puzzling about trying to figure out how to trade without the QQQ and SPY. I will soon get it figured out and resume trading after the opening. Folks.. it is getting on to time for me to get busy trading or get busy finding...

Again sort of a nothing opening for me. 2 Shorts, both major oil companies. RD +.11, gave it some time and gave a little back. BP -.06, same thing, I never had much in it, and it didn't look to be weak, so finally jumped out of it. Tomorrow is another day.
