This market can breathe during the long weekend. Overbought short term...unlikely this momentum will last for an extended period of time. Retrace and sideway is what I am looking for. Ideally, at least a test of 2400 level, or better yet 2200.

If 2725 cash level can't be breached today, I plan to short every spikes on the potential short term down channel to 2600.

Proper terms would be legging in and trailing out. The more price moves in one direction, the higher the probability of reversal. Trailing out at key resistance levels makes sense.

Totally agreed. Some very good fundamentals for new people for sure. I trade with bigger stops since it's even more forgiving with direction. Although, I tend to be more right than wrong.

Yup, that's why I tend to like volatile sideways action (aka whipsaw). Although, big, continuous move in 1 direction will hurt once in a while, but statistically far and few. This is when you scale with the big trend. Markets trend and revert 50/50 of the time.

It's always ambitious. Haha. Direction could change any time, so PA is a good indicator to exit when it's moving in a weird way.

Position sizing and scaling are good strategies. Absolutely agreed 100%. But you gotta be right on the large up or down trend, otherwise, scaling into the wrong direction can be costly.

I think your timing on that short is purely coincidence. The news happened to swing in your direction, but we are heading back up. Was very tempted to add long on that signal at 2630, but staying disciplined.

Likely news about euro zone deal failure...but whatever, they will hammer out a deal soon. Holding long and looking at 2630 level.
