Half way through life and not close to being consistent

+1 1. Get rid of ALL indicators. Take a fresh look at your charts and try to see what they're telling you. 2. Try to figure out how the price moves from one level to the next, particularly make note of the distance it travels with the trend and on each retrace. 3. Try not to have any bias...

My journey to profitable trading: NQ price action journal

Thanks for your honesty. Consider that tuition money well spent, if in fact, you can learn from it and not repeat the same mistake again. Btw, what's the obsession of all newer traders with the NQ? I found the NQ to be very jumpy for my taste. My stops would have to be really wide and way...

Day trade US market with less than 25k account ?

+1 I made the switch to futures after trying to trade stocks for more than 10 years... There is absolutely no comparison. So many advantages point in favor of futures... Daytrading stocks is futile, no wonder stock traders are a dying breed.

All I have to say is.... you've got some balls to sit through these kinds of swings. My finger is always on the trigger, whether it's scalping or swing trading... I learned my lesson :).

My journey to profitable trading: NQ price action journal

Sorry about that loss... Been there, done that. That's a very common mistake you mentioned, by the way. Feeling of missing out, so let me enter "right here, right now" regardless whether it makes sense at the current price level or not :). I still have that feeling sometimes when I get...

    Trading NQ via Price Action

No way to figure out anything as far as the clues, so don't try to beat yourself over it too much. This selling was news driven and came in all of a sudden, without any warning (unless you have a hotline to Vlad, LOL). It took me about 30 secs or so to react, even though I'm always watching...

    ES Journal - 2014

This is the kind of day when being a scalper is a big plus... Lost 4 ticks on the initial drop until I realized wtf is going on... Then cleaned up on the multiple gyrations near the lows :D. P.S. Wouldn't want to be in pinkman's shoes right now. Hopefully he bailed before the drop.

    ES Journal - 2014

ES closing near highs... IMO, what's happening is buyers operating in "stealth" mode are slowly pushing it up hoping to hit the short stops which will cause more upward pressure.
