I am taking time off from trading equities to be able to concentrate more on futures, where I've been doing much better lately. I will be participating in the ES journal thread.

Covered at 46 for an easy scalp, may re-enter on retest of high.

Short 47.75, stop 48.75, target TBD based on price action.

Also long volatility while holding on to the ES short. Retested 20 EMA on 5 min. Needs to break below 24.50.

Short 26, stop 27.50 target below 20.

No trades.

My trading sucked today. Totally forgot about the 10 am numbers, got caught on the wrong side with several (long) positions and was subsequently run over by a freight train. Going forward, I will put a reminder in Outlook for all econ events throughout the day. -133 gross

Damn this market is freaking hard! Was under water most of the morning, almost hit my daily stop then scalped my way out to finish slightly positive after comm. +61 gross

Trading stocks is sometimes freaking hard... It took 52 trades to make this little (~60 bucks after comm). On the other hand, it only took 6 trades and much less stress to make 100 bucks in my futures account (trading 1 ES contract) :confused:. +148 gross

Got distracted for a few seconds while in multiple positions and the invariable outcome is in accordance with Murphy's law :). -152 gross
