You're a retail trader from India, I know for sure :D . There are whole lotta 'traders' like you whom few knowledgeable people loot within few months. This site is OK. You just need to do a lot of searching.

3-4 months of non-productivity can be serious. Take a break, get back to paper trading/backtesting/minimal size or whatever. I had trouble in first 2 weeks of january(http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2253041#post2253041) and took a break. Now it's back to green.

"Pivots do not work, Moving Averages do not work, Chart patterns do not work, MESA do not work, Level 2 plays do not work, Fibonacci ratios do not work, Scalping does not work, Investing does not work...." man I'm sick of the generalizations clueless noobs can put up.

Such simplistic formulas are likely to dampen productivity. If I have a 20 cent out, and I have 1000 shares... means I'm willing to take a risk of 200$. If I find a seldom setup with risk =10cents/reward>40 cents I may buy 2000 shares. Try writing down various r/r scenarios... size...

Earlier whenever I broke a rule, use to suspend myself from trading for one day for each rule broken.

There are always people willing to share their trading ideas and experience. The problem with noobs is only that it's hard to recognize genuine advise from the BS doled everywhere by suckers and scammers. The delusion they suffer is about looking for easy money rather then developing skills...

Using such simplistic observations to come to a conclusion may be dangerous, IMO. There are several other parameters involved.

I had a virus problem which crashed XP horribly and won't go after multiple formats either. After trying NOD, Semantic, McAfee the only thing that helped was the avast pre-boot scan.

I trade at one of their branch offices. Have selected them basically 'cause of the commission structure, and their good list of shortable stocks avaliable each day.
