are you saying that having a series 7 makes no differerence when trading with a prop or LLC? the question is whether the LLC or prop is registered with the exchange in order to give better than 4-1 leverage?

at least at those times you can employ some sort of stop. at the open,things happen so fast that stops are useless.

Landis, i think what has some confused is there seems to be some doubt amongst wall steet investors as to just how much the feds liquidity injections are going to help with this crsis. still,you cannot ignore the price action.

you just can never predict what the market does at the open,its such a toss up. i gave up on that years ago.

you have to remember,for the past few years,everytime the dow open lower by more than 150 points,there always seems to be buying on the sell offs at the open. that is a recurring theme. PPT or not,it happens and traders need to be cognizant of that.

i strongly suspect that we re test todays lows. could i be wrong? of course but that is what i am betting . i will employ strict risk management as always.
