DTniq, is it comparable to Esignal? Better, worse, same

Likewise, ProphetX is an amazing product, glad I got rid of that eSignal crap and their piss poor customer service., eSignal does have what is coming to them, and it is already starting. Things are going to be getting interesting as customers wise up and realize they are being heavily...

    oanda needs new platform

Gah!!! Just gimme a 4-day chart and a 50 and 200 SMA on it and I'll be happy. It's how I got that 1,500 gain on the EUR/AUD. Seems to work well on most of the pairs. I was screwing around with Vista when I was messing with Meta-trader to see if it worked. One thing is for sure, I...

    oanda needs new platform

Only thing I want from Oanda, is better charts. 4 hour timeframe on the charts would be great because that is what I use on meta-trader. More data from the past in the charts would be great as well. The platform is okay. If I use Meta-trader and Oanda alongside each other, then it is...

Windows Vista Beta 2 - Mini Review & Impressions by JMowery, Enjoy

I think The Nittany Lion would have been a cooler name for this Windows :p Right now that is the way it seems, although not MAXED out, but a very good system. My system is coming up on being around 2 years old. 2 gigs of ram, at least a 2 ghz processor, 256 MB graphics card, I think...

    Are you Cold Blooded?

Hehe, I hope you are a successful trader, because I feel I am the same way kinda. Although I don't yet claim to be successful, just still alive, I try and keep open minded about everything. When I first started I was so excited every day about trading, it was the thrill of my life, while I...

Windows Vista Beta 2 - Mini Review & Impressions by JMowery, Enjoy

Pretty cool, I might put some time into the chess game for sure, and minesweeper has gotten a bit of an upgrade. All the games you can scale to different sizes and they will adjust to stay smooth looking. Mahjong I also like as well, simple games, but well done. The games do lag a tad bit...

    Why no rating/review for FXCM?

Way way way too many bad reviews. I still have $49 in my account and haven't touched it for at least 7 or 8 months or so. Go to FXDD, Oanda, CoesFX, or IB

Windows Vista Beta 2 - Mini Review & Impressions by JMowery, Enjoy

256 MB is probably going to be a good estimate. 128 MB probably bare minimum. 256 MB graphics cards are very very cheap now though.

Windows Vista Beta 2 - Mini Review & Impressions by JMowery, Enjoy

Maya 7 did install fine. Does run much slower than when on Windows XP. If you have very fast hardware (which if you have Maya and use Maya on a daily basis) you probably do, it might perform better. But installed fine and started up fine.

Here is some of that 3D eye-candy Microsoft was talking about. The Windows Key - Tab combo brings this up.

Windows Vista Beta 2 - Mini Review & Impressions by JMowery, Enjoy

Sorry, didn't see your post at first. Am installing Maya as we speak, will let you know the outcome. EDIT: Windows Vista Beta 2 is good until June or July 2007, by then (hopefully) Windows Vista Final will be released, and the Beta will be shut down. They might release a Windows Vista...

Lol... we all know we could hack our way into that lab! Microsoft always leaks crap. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/preview.mspx Signup's are officially closed, but I signed up about a month ago while the customer preview program was still open and luckily I still had the...

Windows Vista Beta 2 - Mini Review & Impressions by JMowery, Enjoy

I think I posted this in the wrong forum actually. If a mod could move this to the Trading Software forum, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. EDIT: Feel free to ask questions about Windows Vista so far, I'm going to leave Vista installed until I have to switch back to XP and will answer any...

Is there a diffrence between working about isreali war, then the US/iraq war

I personally have a bad feeling about this war. I don't know what it is, but I just have one of those feelings that something bad is going to happen, very bad. Last time I had that feeling it was 3 years ago on a trip to Pennsylvania in the middle of a blizzard and the car did a 720 and ended...

    Paper Trading Software

Some firms like EchoTrade and Bright Trading require a series 7, that usually takes about 3 months to study for and the firm has to sponsor you to take it. Other firms, like almost all of them that I have listed on my page, do not require a series 7, and as long as you put up a "security...

    Paper Trading Software

Leverage and Rates. I'm going to be getting an extremely low per-ticket deal under $1.00 and a very large amount of leverage. It's one of the main reasons people trade at prop firms. Newbies go there so they can maybe put down 2k and get 20 to 1 leverage and have $40,000 to work with to...

    Paper Trading Software

I'm 19. I've been trading live, but currently getting ready to move to a new firm, which I have finally settled on and will be back to trading live by the end of next week HOPEFULLY because I'm losing my mind since I'm not trading live now. I'm just trying to make "demo trading" exciting...
