Don't use the order dialog box. Make sure you have the time in force displayed on your order line, and just use the drop down menu.

In that instance you can be filled on an unchanged open. I don't think you can ever be filled short on a down open.

One fill today, short, took 35 cents on half of position, 10 cents on the ohter half, average of 22 cents or so. (my cover on the first half was the low of the day :) )

4 wins out of 5 fills. Net of 67 cents after comish. The loser was SGP which I am beginning to dislike- it flushed down 19 cents from the open, got out about half way back, lost 12 cents and it went straight up another 43 cents from my exit. Coulda been 5 for 5 pretty easily.

2 shorts, 2 longs, netted 14 cents on 3 out of 4. got hurt by SBC, but made a little money nonetheless. JPM was an instant 27 cent net winner.
