i bust ass working the night shift. trading full time during the day and in class as well.

I trade NYSE only, usually 1-2K share lots of stocks $30-60 with ameritrade. My limit order fills are horrible as well.

SLB is another one.. but so far this week, when the market is up, they're up, when the market is down, they're up. so yups, i got burned shorting it lol.

i know this isnt any consolation, but i lost -2300 in a 4 day trade on one stock. hope all goes well man.

A lot of my trades are intraday, NYSE only. I will hold overnight or even 2-3 days if I feel good about my entry, So i'm not scalping. Roughly 35K cash in the account. ~50K would give me more flexibility. 100K would be ideal witih daytrading power of 400K. Typically 1-2K shares on...

Depending how the market looks tomm.. a possible play on amzn could be to go LONG with a tight stop. I dont trade nasdog, just a thought on amzn.

A stronger dollar will really hurt CAT's earnings. Look for CAT to miss if a stronger dollar persist.

I'm short 1K SLB @45.65 from Fri. Hoping to cover on the 1st dip <45.10 on Mon if theres one. :) Will short GM if it hits >37.85.

GG, are you actively trading?

Most of my trades are large cap stocks such at CAT, SLB, MRK, GM, etc.. at 1000 share lots. The commission per trade seems minute in comparisons to the gains/loss, but it sure does adds up in the overall scheme of things. I'll probably switch to IB real shortly.
