I worked for a quant fund last year. They were killed, and I quit after I saw it was going no where. They had phenomenal performance in previous years, but it seemed like everyone did. LOL. I think currently the firm has stopped trading completely and is trying new methods/just researching...

Knowing when to take the opening range breakout trades and when to fade the fuckers breaking them out. HAHAHA ;)

I live in Houston and I trade prop from home. Assent is the best firm in Houston that is prop hands down. Its in the galleria. Let me know if you need anything. I know of at least 4 very good traders that trade at their office, all netting over 500k a year.
