How does it make you feel that someday your spirit will lay your body aside like a well-loved garment and move on to the place it loves best?

I looked through that journal url you posted...nowhere did I see the mistake of letting one's significant other brandish a firearm and then shoot two monitors necessitating a bakesale by the faithful to get you going for your gig at Woodie's room.

With all due respect, "Quitters never win and WINNERS NEVER QUIT!" And by the way, the breezes are real nice in a double-wide in the South this time of the year. So you might want to put that in your pipe and smoke it, hillbilly boy.

How long will it take to turn a $5,000 account into $100,000?

I wouldn't limit yourself to no losses in 26 straight trading days. My experience in scalping markets has taught me it is usually better to keep trading small 'comeback' trades rather than let a losing day sit on the books and poison the rest of your week. This is jmo, maybe others think it...

How long will it take to turn a $5,000 account into $100,000?

This was an interesting thread. It looks like there is quite a bit of risk-taking behavior by using a pyramid style of trading. I have scalped the ES a couple of years ago and had a really good win ratio but it was always for .25 to .50 point, seldom more. Also, I used one contract. I think...

I suppose that old salute, "See you in the funny papers," has, at base, some truth. My mistake. Anyway, it's good to have tampa back as a Journalist and to see you posting again Mr. Sub. See you guys later.

I've been reading your blog, you've eaten more losses than I've had capital. My goal is to get to 100K this year but this recent return of my illness still finds me about 30K short. So I have my doubts. Still, on days I feel well enoguh to trade for real I do, other days I practice. Today...

All right, well, some roads are best travelel alone. I guess this is one of those. Since your assessment of my trading career appears to be spot on, let me ask you a question about chart design? Do you get more satisfaction from the design process itself or from the monetary reward...

Man, that was quick, tampa. And thanks for inviting me back. I've got to go back to the hospital next week and all for the serious stuff... In the meantime, since you seem to be a learned man, acquainted with the ways of the world...I know this is your journal and don't answer if you don't...

Before I take leave...tampa you are a true philanthropist---you won't toil for your crust of bread should another be found wanting, you post charts for the artisitic value of what might be garnered from them, you charitably allow your broker to close your trades at margin stop lest he...

That's it, that's your trading style? I like the different colors on your chart. You remember back in Bible times when Jacob wanted to breed sheep, he would put the bars of the pen first one way and then another and every time the sheep would breed better, or somethin'? Maybe you should use...

May I suggest the wonderful rejuvenating effects of watching the occasional good movie? I've subscribed to such a service for the past year and found inspiration and a renewed sense of purpose from watching some old favorites. It does take the sharp edge off the rough days and allows a faster...
