Porgie that is so true..... I'll be serious for minute here.... If you have any "mental demons" in your trading, then nothing else matters... you WILL lose money. Demons will take any system or edge that you think you have....and they will shove it up your ass and then kick you in the teeth...

Well...... what i hate to admit......is that im not a programmer and not very savy with computers. I would love to download data to excel.... im looking to collect gap data from the YM.

to say one has an "edge" is relative. I mean who determines if you have an edge or not ? One may think he has an edge, if one makes a tiny amount of $$, but to someone else that is not an edge at all. So having and edge or thinking you have an edge is the same as saying.... "its cold out...

FALSE .... you might enter the mkts during a long bull run and pick things up in just 6 months and start showing a profit.... thinking that you know how to trade. Or you may enter the mkts during a macro consolidation..... and it may take you more than 2 years to really "get it" Blessed...

Eveyone keeps saying "you need an edge" ..... in order to make it. Where do i get this edge??? :confused:
