So many threads on this site start out with good intentions and good topics of discussion but so many of them (this one inlcuded) devolve into pissing contests.

It cost me about $400 to get that position at the end of the day. I started shorting and getting stopped out at 12630. My trade is short term only. If it drops I will use a trailing stop until stopped out. If not I'll get short again higher up. Would love catch a 400/500 point drop some day...

Holding here as well. Short 3 at 12680. Thin volume into the close. Up until today 12650/660 was an excellent place to short. On to new territory.

Say a trader makes $250K for two years then blows up while another trader chugs along at $110K a year, year in and year out. Who's the better trader? A lot depends on whether your results are attributed to randomness or skill (we like to believe it's skill don't we?).
