    Tony Oz's Sky Scraper question

Harry, It takes time to get used to it! It's just like looking at level II screens for the first time. Then it becomes much easier. You will learn to move quickly and find a couple of good setups on a daily basis. You will also miss a lot of them! But as long as you get a couple of...

    Tony Oz's Sky Scraper question

Tony, I am confused  . The calculator you gave us in the seminar does not have this stop loss calculation on it. Is there something wrong with my calculator or is the one you show in your post is only for your own use?

I shouldn't have made my previous posts. I regret that I did, because there is no way I can support what I said without hurting anyone. This is not my intention. Please disregard my previous posts. I apologize for that. Bill

What did ever happen to Raul? I met him at the Money Show in Las Vegas in May 1999 (or 1998). He was with a guy named Danielo. Raul introduced himself to me as the founder and owner of tradehard.com. (the name before it became TM). I just wonder what happened to him...

Well, where should I start? Expectations - I had non. You can't expect much from such short sessions. Actual Experience - Vegas is always a lot of fun. After attending a couple of seesions, I decided to spend my time at the black jack table. There was nothing in the presentation that...

Choppy markets today - getting whipsawed to death ... :-(

More... If anyone wishes to see any other scan or NYSE stocks let me know and I'll post a screen shot. It is important that you know that I didn't trade any of the stocks, have any positions in any of the stocks, or looked at any of the charts. I just posted it for your enjoyment ;)...

trade size as % of daily volume

I think Tony Oz did a great job in his new book on position sizing. We got the calculator in his live trading seminar in August. I believe it says here http://store.yahoo.com/marketwizard/index.html that you get the calculator for free. The attachment has a picture of the calculator. I...

Choppy markets today - getting whipsawed to death ... :-(

Hi Harry, I have been in bed for the last three days. The good news is that I did not die in a plane crash.. the bad news is that I caught a nasty virus on the plane on the way back from Oakland. Looks like I missed a good rally, but I was bearish, so maybe I saved money by being sick :)

    Talibanization of Wall Street

This will kill the trading volume and send traders to other markets. I can't see it happening. You can't sell a dollar bill for ten bucks forever! Valuation are still high and if Cisco's Tom Chambers' prediction of 50% of NDX going bust in the next 5 years, we will see NDX under 800 possibly...

ib_luigi, Thanks for the AWESOME post! You will like Tony's book, because he really puts it all together in terms of risks, rewards, entry and exit. If any of you only have access to an overnight scanner, the way to set it up is for either three up days in a row or three down days in...

Yes, I like the 2 minute with 20 MA simple close + 20 upper and lower envelopes. It works well for me trading QQQ as well. I forgot to mention an important point about the AMGN trade and that is that the candle body was still down from open (black, red or green in my case) on the daily chart...

Tony, Great points about the scanner. I assumed that the readers will do their DD before using it. Magna, These are all excellent and valid questions, and I see why Tony got concerned with it. I guess I take for granted what I learned from him first hand. The trigger point for the...

Choppy markets today - getting whipsawed to death ... :-(

Since there are so many questions about the scanner, I will list some of the stocks that showed up at the end of the day, so you can take a look at them this weekend. I am going up to Northern CA at 5:00 PM and will be back on Monday. I think it is important that I disclose that I have no open...

trader 88, Tony teaches it as a both swing trading and day trading method. I am a day trader. I rarely hold overnight, but do when I have great profits built in and the trade is on the short side (after closing at least half the position before the close). Bill
