The premarket/afterhours markets do give some indication of where things may be headed. However the volume of the AH markets ought to tell you that there isn't enough to lend that indication much weight. The AH market right before the opening bell might sink a stock and opening bell brings it...

Well I am in FAS at 9.93, it bounced down to 9.85, came back up to over 10, back down and looked like it was on it's way back up slowly. As I write this it's down to 9.83 @ 3:50pm

What ceiling? It looks like a continuation of behavior from before this last spike to $13.

I don't know. FAZ hasn't been a very safe bet. Looking at the last 5 days, it's only gapped up once, and not enough to warrant the risk. The character of fas as it looks right now (obviously a lot can change), leads me to believe FAS is going to gap up in the morning and have an up day tomorrow.

On second though, I am taking another look at FAS for an overnight hold. It all depends on the price and what the % is at the end of the day.

I may, however the profit potential is declining all the time. The later in the day, the less risk, but FAZ is on the way up right now so you might be getting on a late train ride with the same level of risk but less payoff.

Ah well, I could have sold for 10.70, but hesitated because I didn't want to loose potential profits. Looks ike that was the top of this rize. I got stopped out at 10.55 for +2.22%

I just put in a 15 cent trailing stop, I am getting out at the top of this rise whatever it is....yes I am burning a day trade, but this is a quick gain, and I can't ignore it.

I am at the moment 2.1% and climbing in profit. Better than a loss.

I am long on FAS....I would have bought it sub $10, but I was away from my desk when that happened the last time this morning.
