meditation as a way to calm trading angsts

Sure, walking on water has also been described in texts from approximately the same time. Same with turning water into wine. Well, to me treatises like that are good enough to start a new religion, but they fail miserably short as a proof of levitation.

meditation as a way to calm trading angsts

Sure, everyone can jump high enough and claim that he levitated. But try doing it without jumping. It's much harder, to the point that you can do this only 'in private'.

meditation as a way to calm trading angsts

Well, with all due respect, but you are missing the point in what I have said. Yes, quarks have never been observed and the theory explains why. Can the theory of levitation, if such exists at all, explain why the levitation has never been observed? Physics is a sound discipline that is...

    Now Documented: Brain Kills Profits

This is not true when you use closed bars for your backtesting and trading. When you trade before the last bar is closed you obviously will see something else than when the last bar is closed, but when it is closed things will not change. So you then trade the next bar and the same way you...

meditation as a way to calm trading angsts

Claims that cannot be proved cannot be taken seriously. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and not just any evidence.

Trading Times (Random) Tues-Fri ES emini S&P

Yet another great day in the markets, what LongShit? As if someone as successful as you knew what a method or system is about. You have none, so what are you are talking about? Why you spend so much time on this board contributing nothing is beyond me, but I guess that's the cheapest way to...

Trading Times (Random) Tues-Fri ES emini S&P

Of course it is not a method. It is the system that gives you the entries that is the main method, without the system you cannot do much. The power of trading at just a few selected moments lies in that you limit your trading and so you can last longer. But if your system is not completely...

Those were very good. You would have made money in each of these cases using my system in the 1 min timeframe. The entries were as close as 1-3 minutes from your times. Your method seems to have some potential...:)

    My Metastock strategy

No, the really pointless posts on this board do not even come close to yours. Sharing info about your system even if you are not going to tell the details is fine with me. At least it can serve as an inspiration for others to work on their own systems. Keep us updated on your real trading...

    Trading Times for S&P 500 Tuesday-Friday

The pivot and R/S are fine. I was once using a fine mechanical system based on the pivot and MAs. I trade within a mechanical system that involves MAs and PSAR, but you can look for setups based on CCI or stochastics divergences, and MAs crossings. Divergences can sometimes be false starts...

    Trading Times for S&P 500 Tuesday-Friday

My trades today using my trading system: 9:42, long +8.5 exit 10:52 10:52, short, still open The entries coincide with those suggested by TT and that's the reason I report them, however they were not inspired by TT. I do not trade using pivots or R/S but I take them into account and...

that you use a simulator to papertrade your calls and then report your results stating the reasons for taking your actions. Just papertrading without taking any action even on a simulator is of little value, IMO.

Frankly, I don't know why they worked so great for you, they were not so close in time to the points were I would consider taking any action. I mean, they were at least 15 min away from such points. Walter's calls were closer, within 5-10 min. Anything that is 15 min or more away should not...

    Trading Times for S&P 500 Tuesday-Friday

Walther, what time frames do you mean when talking about MAs and their crossings? I agree that the other times could have been played as pullbacks, but their potential seemed limited to me compared to playing the pivot rebound ca 9:50. The 10:30 pullback was close to R2 which was not...

Yet another attempt at showing your superior intelligence? If 9:50 were always good you would not be posting your lame cracks here and you could afford an island too.

    Trading Times for S&P 500 Tuesday-Friday

Except that missed it by a few seconds literally, and I am pissed. I wanted to go long 2-3 minutes after 9:50 on a pullback to the pivot, but the market moved way too fast then and I refused to chase it. There were other reasons to go long then too, but that's just a matter of my personal...

    Trading Times for S&P 500 Tuesday-Friday

I watch 10:00, 10:30, 11:30, 12:45, 13:30, 14:15, but most closely 10:30 and 11:30, 12:45 and 14:15. I am not necessarilly looking for setups at these particular times, but it's good to know how the market behaves at these points, and if I see some good setup then, I will obviously take it.

    Bill Williams...Trading Chaos??

Oh, for the same reason Jack uses science terms that can easily be replaced with words everyone can understand... I leave this to you to understand why.
