Well, I was in the market because of the signal my system issued. The report? I got that signal some 10 minutes before that. Me brave? Well, I credit this to my system, this had nothing to do with my bravery or the lack of it.

today, a short entry (the (15(3), 5) stochastics oversold in 1 min and 3 min charts) around 11:30 would give you an easy 3 pts in ES in a very tight range of 3-4 pts. Just a simple example. The best time would be 11:42 (use a 1 min chart to pinpoint that), but that is pretty close to 11:30.

Well, today my system gave a signal to go long @897.0, with the target @906.0 and guess what happened? I scored 9pts. All that happened during the first 30 minutes. So (sometimes) it is a good time. I mean ES.

Great book, read it and enjoyed it immensely. It was actually fun to read and he made many good points. Good for those interested in risk and money management, but not so much for those looking for trading ideas. wally_
