Does anyone know what the new short sale rule is going to be and when it will take effect? Not the 300 stock no uptick rule.... the rule that will require all shorts to be executed above the best consolidated bid (i.e. nyse, ecn, regionals, etc.) thanks.

rumor from a month ago started about naz considering posting quotes in listed stocks, and now the merger offer sounds more like an ultimatum than an offer. We are hearing the offer is merge or we'll take your market share.

well said.... I couldn't agree more. I know all the prop. groups in Chicago, and no one will pay a salary, let alone a draw of anywhere near 50k. You might want to look into groups that require you to work as a clerk for a year or 2 and get paid 30k and eventually get to trade minis or...

In my experience, from 6 years of trading, I would say that one way to increase your profitability is to change your bet size. I don't know if you system only indicates either a buy or sell, or actually evaluates the quality of the trade. You have more winners than losers and if you can find...

I could not find arca fees on listed stocks on their website. The last I heard they had abolished fees for listed stocks.....don't know for sure though...

I'm considering making the switch back to scalping Nasdaq from NYSE. I just don't see the moves in listed stocks like last year. And it looks like quite a few naz stocks have increased in volatility. Any thoughts?
