Hey, I've got a quickie. Does Interactive Brokers allow you to sell put options? (I believe they're called "long puts" too? Correct if wrong). Scottrade let you purchase them, but not sell the contract back into the market. Thanks

So with the Dow Mini, as long as you have $4800 in cash in your account, you can trade two contracts on margin?

Call me dumb (I haven't traded futures yet), but how do you trade a $12,000+ contract with only $5k? Is there some other math to this?

I've got kind of a dumb question .. but how do you buy an option based on an index? Are you referring to trading options on an ETF like SPY that follows the S&P 500?
