The Bull is here to stay!

late in the day is interesting. I love to ride a good squeeze in the 3:30-4:00 time-frame -- but violent squeezes have been few and far between lately. ... interesting. I'm still expecting a good tradeable downleg -- but at this point the ONLY way to play it is to the upside. There...

What is the worst thing you do when you get mad at a bad trade?

I probably was a little harsh in my response -- sorry about that. :(

What is the worst thing you do when you get mad at a bad trade?

in general, yes -- I believe that's a true statement. In this case though, I was responding to a novice trader's posting about the usual "Wall Street Conspiracy" theory, etc, etc. To say that making money as a trader is completely "random" is laughable. It's almost like saying, "how could a...

What is the worst thing you do when you get mad at a bad trade?

spoken like a true loser:( Those of us who make our living at this, enjoy hearing this type of nonsense from the masses. In trading, as in any other profession on the face of the earth, there are "good traders" and "bad traders." It's really very simple -- the "good traders" make money and...

When is this market going to come down?

for novice traders: being too early to short the market and being too early to buy the market --- let the market exhaust itself. you don't have to get it at the top (nor do you want to). I'm bearish as hell, but have been raking it in on the long side for a while now. Some of...

    S&P Futures

I first noticed the delay when I compared it to the live Futures Squawk. The Squawk was way in front of Tradestation. I wonder if the Squawk is always noticeably faster than ALL data feeds?? anyone?? Beuller?? anyone?? Thanks again. dog

    S&P Futures

I suspect that the spoo charts I have been using w/ Tradestation (!for years!) are actually delayed by ~15 seconds or so. In addition, I suspect that TS may be missing some of the ticks. My questions are: 1. Anyone else notice this w/ Tradestation (specifically w/ Futures). 2. Is...

    Traders' Commitments (from Barron's)...

the spooz are going to "break like a...." ... you know the rest! (don't be too early on this one though)! I want to get aggressive on the short side -- but am mindful that it's times like these that offer some of the best "squeeze ops." patience.

    Traders' Commitments (from Barron's)...

Check out Traders' Commitments for the e-mini in Barron's (page MW36)... Small Traders are long 459,000 contracts and short just 50,000. Conversely -- Large Speculators and Commercial Hedgers are absolutely loaded for BEAR!! ... which side would you prefer to be on?? dog

Where are you sending your SPY orders?

I guess my main reason for trading the Qubes (instead of Futures) is that I use Futures as my main leading indicator for the QQQ. QQQ is extremely liquid and I can bury big orders quickly and efficiently w/out ever making a dent in the market.

than short this market! Sometimes the best opportunities arise from severely overbought conditions (ie. - short squeeze plays). Being long during a squeeze is one of the easiest plays for the intraday trader. http://www.lcarb.us/arijose/soundfiles/vegas.wav
