    the key is where the order rests. globex supports native stop limit order, but not stop market order. so your stop limit order rests there, and once the stop price hit, your order is entered into the book as a limit order -- all done locally. Wheres stop order sits on IB servers, only after IB...

    Use stop limit, which is queued in globex. Stop is saved on IB servers, and it might not even trigger.

    yeh, that's many shorts' profit target, gap fill. But his way is quite profitable. 1s quickly add up to 10, he is not greedy so he never gave up any paper profit. For the ES condition so far in 2010, it's better than holding for big run, at least psychologically.

    I know, but one constant daemon I have to fight with, is pressing the button too early. I always need to pay my broker well to catch some good move. NoD instead shows a lot of patience and accuracy.
